Deplaning at a hub city?
I want to fly to Cleveland oh from richmond va. It's less expensive to fly from Richmond to Columbus and change planes in Cleveland then fly from cleveland to columbus. does anyone know if the airlines will cancel the return portion of the ticket if you are not on the 2nd segment of the flight?

You would effectively be changing your itinerary which comes with a $75 - $100 - $150 fee depending upon the airline. The intent is to prevent passengers from doing what you are proposing.
