Cheapest airfare

Cheapest airfare?
I'm looking for the best deals on a round trip flight from columbus, ohio to los angeles. I'm military too, and I would leave the 28th and get back the 2nd. the cheapest I've been able to come up with is from expedia which is $800 and includes a hotel, this doesn't include any military discount though. Any help would be appreciated :)

Check out this website, I got some really cheap tickets on here. WWW.ANNETTELEON.GLOBALTRAVEL.COM

I find going directly to an airlines site works the best for me, I keep an eye on it for a few days and quite often the price drops if the plane is not filling, you are also leaving on a Friday and the prices are always higher for weekend flights, try looking at the flights available on the 27th, that leave late in the evening. I would also suggest going to the airport and getting on a standby list, but being Christmas, the busiest flying season, it could take hours and hours. Have a great Holiday :)

I travel to Europe all the time . I live in Las Vegas. The cheapest way is going directly to your air carrier's website and order online . All of the travel websites work with a kind of commission , so you will always pay more .

Try Hotwire.com pretty good discounts but they are not flexible when it comes to changing your plans. Meaning no refunds if you change your mind or miss your flight.

Try this website http://benefits.military.com/discount-center/travel/home.do good luck)

Is a roundtrip flight in one day cheap

Is a roundtrip flight in one day cheap?
I am looking for a roundtrip from Columbus Ohio to Virginia Beach for June 20, and I want to return June 20 at night. I got a rate of $322 and thought this was high, is it? I figured a roundtrip all in one day would be cheaper.

im not sure but i think a roundtrip would be more plus 322 is not a lot in the whole scheme of things

A round trip in a single day tends to be a full-fare economy ticket. It won't be cheap. I made the mistake of flying from Vancouver to San Francisco for the day once, a few years ago. The U.S. authorities were absolutely certain I was up to something, but couldn't figure out what.

The closer to the travel day, the higher the price... $322 is not an unusual amount... If you booked the flight 30 days in advance, would likely be much less...

I dont know, but Ive flown from Brussels to Cairo by myself when I was 16.
4 :
yeah. i hope you're not running away cause you're "in love" or something
5 :
Yes.. but there will be someone to monitor you both on each stop. I went alone when I was 14 and had to stay in a security area until my fliight took off. Bookit.com is a great site to book cheap flights. Happy Holidays, and have a safe trip! :-)

As long as the parents sign off on you at the ticket counter as a UM (Unaccompanied Minor). You have to present valid photo ID at the check in, and at security. While the 17 yo might have that, the 14 does not. That's when the UM form will be requested.
7 :
Defiantly.
8 :
Yes. You will both be considered adults. Just bring IDs for the trip, for both of you. www.continental.com www.orbitz.com www.cheaptickets.com

Yup, I flew alone when I was 13, but you need your guardian's permission of course.

Travel or entertainment advice around Columbus Ohio

Travel or entertainment advice around Columbus Ohio?
My boyfriend and I want to do something interesting together on the weekend of 1/28/2011. We have both Saturday and Sunday free. We live in Columbus, Ohio. I checked the live shows going on that weekend, nothing interesting. I'd like to get some advices on what to do to avoid being couch potatoes that weekend. Short non stop flight or reasonable amount of driving is ok. Please advice. Thank you.

Have you gone to COSI? You don't have to be a kid to enjoy it that's good for 3 or 4 hours. A trip to Cleveland Should include a trip to the Museum of Art In my opinion its the 2 nd best museum in the midwest(after the Institute of Art in Chicago).
