Hi, I'm a travel agent but I'm not soliciting your business. I'm just answering. If I had your dates, I could let you know what I find for you. I don't believe there are any non-stops from Columbus. I assume you mean Ohio. But you might find one on a charter service in a package with hotel.
2 :
There are no non-stop flights from Columbus, Ohio to Jamaica. Best thing you will have to do is fly to Atlanta on Delta and catch the direct flight to Kingston or Montego Bay either with Delta or Air Jamaica. You also can fly to Miami on American and catch American's flight to either Kingston or Montego Bay.

Go to www,southwest.com and book your flight NOW for $149-202 one-way for the 30th. Regards, Dan
2 :
check Orbitz.com --> you should get a better price than that guy posted for SW Air. Orbitz will check about 8 to 10 airlines at once and can be sorted by price.
3 :
Orbitz/Travelocity/Expedia NONE of them include Southwest in their searches, so try them all (and it couldn't hurt to try Hotwire and JetBlue Airlines) Happy Trails, Heather (p.s., I spent a few years w/ my family in north ogden ut)
4 :
I do not know of any coupon codes but I do know that your best bet is delta airlines. they fly a direct route and at times you can find some good fares. Hope this Helps. P.S i am from the columbus ohio area and the airport and city is a great place.
5 :
Please check: Tips: a- use flexible dates b- use alternative airports http://www.hotwire.com/ http://www.cheapoair.com/ http://www.kayak.com/ http://www.orbitz.com/ http://www.priceline.com/ http://www.expedia.com/default.asp http://www.farecompare.com/ http://www.farecast.com/ http://www.airfarewatchdog.com/ http://www.cheapair.com/
6 :
Get the best deals by visiting some specialized sites that compare instantly airfares from different airlines. The most popular ones are listed here: http://www.willgoto.com/1/023798/liens.aspx Use flexible dates in your query whenever it is possible. Include low cost airlines in your query when possible. For instance, Travelocity offers the June 30 flight at $103 with Delta or Northwest Airlines. .

Southwest has a flight that stops in Tampa, but you do not change planes. You can also look for flights out of Miami and West Palm Beach; there is an inexpensive train that stops at each of the airports. It is quick and easy to use.
3 :
Try Delta or US Airways, they're both usually good with nonstop flights
4 :
Try www.Expedia.com

Is a 35 minute layover enough time in Atlanta for a domestic flight

Is a 35 minute layover enough time in Atlanta for a domestic flight ?
Flight from Norfolk, VA to Columbus, OH with a layover of 35 minutes in Atlanta. Is it enough or is it not enough time to catch my flight ? Thanks
Air Travel - 6 Answers
Random Answers, Critics, Comments, Opinions :
1 :
IMO, that is not enough time. Especially, when you consider, that time is from when the plane parks at the gate. Now you have to estimate it taking 10-15 minutes to actually get off the plane. That really leaves you only about 20 minutes. You need at least a 50 minutes in Atlanta. Marc: Just because this flight is listed in a search doesn't mean the airline feels its doable. All the search does is find all combinations from point A to Point B. And the reason it shows a price is that each leg of a flight has its own price. With a layover that short, the airlines warn you about it and that's enough for them not to hold any flight for you or get you on another flight for free.
2 :
It's definitely cutting it very close. Assuming the gates are very close to each other, and assuming that the incoming flight has a somewhat small plane that can be de-boarded quickly, it can be done. If you have a ticket or were offered a ticket with such a connection, the airline obviously thinks that it is doable. You can use http://www.flightstats.com to check the on-time performance of domestic flights to see how often this connection would actually work. Keep in mind that if the airline offered you a ticket with this layover, they are required to put you on another flight to your final destination at their cost, if you miss the connection without fault on your part. Of course, it's still your time that's lost in that case.
3 :
I'm assuming you're flying Delta if it's from ORF-ATL-CMH. Technically, it is a legal connection (ie, allowable connection time by the airline) at ATL. It is certainly do-able. However, it is tight. If there are any delays, you do run a risk of missing your connection. The other thing about ATL is that Delta operates out of practically every terminal there - A, B, C, D, E, and T. That means you could arrive in terminal A and fly out of terminal E, which is a several minute train ride. It's not ideal and I'd personally prefer a longer connection time, but it's do-able. I recently did a 30 min connection at MSP, from one end of the terminal to the other. We made it about 5 minutes before boarding began. You just need to check ahead to find out where you're landing and where you're connection departs so you can plan appropriately. As you board your first flight, you might ask the flight attendant if they can get connecting gate information. ATL though does have a lot of screens all over the place, so you can always check those if the FA can't get that info for you. Good luck!
4 :
That's tight for ATL. It could be "doable" if the gates are on the same concourse, but if they're not, I'm not sure you'd make it. If it were me, I'd: 1) Check the ontime stats of the Norfolk-ATL fight (the DOT keeps all these.) http://www.bts.gov/xml/ontimesummarystatistics/src/index.xml 2) Check the "normal" arrival and departure gates and check them against an ATL map http://www.atlanta-airport.com/Passenger/Terminal/ 3) Wear good running shoes :^) Seriously - if #1 or #2 above give you reason to worry, call the airline and rebook.
5 :
It is not enough time. You should allow yourself a minimum of 60 minutes. If you flight is 5 or 10 minutes late in (remember you could be kept on the ground waiting for a gate to open) you will miss the flight.
6 :
eeek! That would be cutting it very very close. If i remember right atlanta has diffrent terminals. Which your connecting flight may be in a diffrent one. Why are you flying into atlanta from norfolk? (random question) Thats kinda weird.

(If you don't like this flight, you could also check-out Kayak and Travelocity and/or Expedia.)

For the cheapest airfare, you pretty much have two options. Option 1 (and the one I would choose) includes connecting in DCA (Washington, D.C.) It is 308.40 and is on US Airways. I will briefly give you the itinerary here, but to find it in full-scale, it is on expedia.com (assuming that you'll set your cities and dates). CMH-DCA, US Airways Express/ Republic Airlines, 7:35 am - 8:50 am DCA-TPA, US Airways, 10:05- 12:29 am back: TPA-DCA, US Airways, 7:05- 9:10 am DCA- CMH, US Airways Express/Air Wisconsin, 10:00 am- 11:23 am If you visit expedia, you will notice that is taking Northwest, you'll be extremely pushed out of your way, into MSP (Minneapolis) for a connection (blah.) Good luck.

Flight possibly delayed due to inclement weather

Flight possibly delayed due to inclement weather?
I am taking a return flight out of London Gatwick airport on the 24th to Philadelphia on US Airways (booked through Travelocity), with a final destination of Columbus in Ohio - arrival around 7 pm. UK infrastructure is awful and everyone has to panic over a couple of inches of snow, so it's possible that my return flight to the US on Thursday might be delayed since airports have closed a couple of times over 2-3 inches of snow and there is a 20-30% chance of snow throughout the week. I have a flight from Columbus to Tampa, Florida the next day on the 25th (connection in Atlanta), via Delta Airlines (booked on Priceline) early in the morning. Is there any way of me getting compensated for delaying the flight on the 25th that might get delayed due to the poor UK infrastructure/poor weather by US Airways?
Air Travel - 2 Answers
Random Answers, Critics, Comments, Opinions :
1 :
No..........delayed because of weather will not constitute compensation..............
2 :
Sorry but since the airline doesn't control the weather or how well the airport handles inclement weather, no airline is going to compensate you.

Cheap flight from Las Vegas to Cincinnati or Columbus Ohio

Cheap flight from Las Vegas to Cincinnati or Columbus Ohio?

Well, for one it depends on the time of year you are going and what day to see how "cheap" it's going to be. Anywho, when I travel, I usually book my flights using YTB travel (I had a bad experience with cheaptickets.com). Here is the site: http://www.ytbtravel.com/jpministry click on flights only, and the date you are traveling Good luck
2 :
Man too bad you didn't ask earlier on Monday. Southwest Airlines had a huge sale to Columbus from just about everywhere they fly to, they had Ontario to Columbus for $30 each way and I think they had Vegas for the same price. Go to Southwest Airlines website anyway and check out there fares they have some cheap fares.. Download there ding fares so you can see all the sales they announce that day. They usually have some good sales.
3 :
try skybus, the new ultra low fare carrier. they are safe and cheap. also, southwest is trying to compete by offering $15 fares on these routes.
4 :
Hmm, the last answer is kinda funny, as Im 99.999% sure that skybus does not yet fly to Vegas. Southwest is prolly your best bet, but you can always check www.kayak.com, which does a really comprehensive airline fare search for you, and will let you know if you can get a better price at other airports in the geography.

Checkout Southwest Airlines Vacation, Priceline, Travelocity, United Airlines Vacation, Kayak and US Airline. They are all sites that can give you great deals to Vegas. Here are more tips: http://www.lasvegas-how-to.com/cheap-flights.html
2 :
Check out www.lasvegasnow.com which is Channel 8 TV's web site and links to everything you need
3 :
Check out www.sidestep.com ... I just used them to book another vacation. They check all the other websites for the best prices and they charge nothing for their service .... check on package deals and then check air and hotel seperately. You might be surprised that you can save money booking seperately.

When is the best time to purchase an airline ticket for December? Now, or maybe next month?

Easy question to answer... despite being the capitol of Ohio, Columbus is not a high volume travel city for business O&D (origin/destination travel); nor is it the hub for any airline ort ideally located to become one. RJ
2 :
No airline has a hub there and airlines do not see a lot of demand from the people living there so that is why there are not as many direct flights.
3 :
Actually, Columbus has a fairly good set of nonstop destinations. You can fly to every major hub in the U.S. -- JFK, LGA, EWR, LAX, Chicago O'Hare and Midway, Atlanta, DFW, and dozens of others. While there are no international destinations other than Toronto and Cancun, you have to realize that Columbus is not NYC -- we aren't going to get extensive international flights any time soon. The only cities in the U.S. that we are really lacking are Salt Lake City (which we lost a few years ago), the San Francisco bay area, and Seattle. I think those flights will come in the next five to ten years or so. Honestly though, it could be much worse. Ask Toledo.

If your flight is on a weekday not a holiday it will be cheaper. Off hours, as in before 6 am and after 8pm, will be cheaper too.
2 :
The most expensive days for flight departures are typically Friday and Sunday. When you are looking for airfare, airlines tend to offer additional sales if you book on a Tuesday - Thursday. (This is referring to the day of the week you purchase the flight, not the day you are flying.)

Columbus is also the Capital of Ohio, so lots of history.

Anyone missed a flight on purpose

Anyone missed a flight on purpose?
Planning to travel to Atlanta, GA from Columbus,OH on Oct 21st but found the airfare to be pricey (around $529), whereas flight from Columbus, OH to Jacksonville, FL on the same day with 1 stop at Atlanta, GA is $100. Want to check whether I can book a ticket from Columbus, OH to Jacksonville, FL & discontinue my journey after Atlanta, GA. One way trip with no check-in luggage
Air Travel - 7 Answers
Random Answers, Critics, Comments, Opinions :
1 :
OH David ,only you can think of something as wacky as that.
2 :
$100 total? That doesn't sound right... To answer your question though, you would be able to book that flight if ATL was your final destination and just skip the Jacksonville leg of the flight.
3 :
You can, but your return voyage (back to Columbus whenever you return) will most likely be canceled.
4 :
If you check luggage, it will continue on without you - so you'll want to only have carry on. Other than that, it shouldn't be a problem at all. You might even want to inform that at the counter so they aren't holding the seat for you.
5 :
that fine i somtimes do that to!
6 :
As long as it is a one trip with no checked luggage your fine. If it were round trip the system would cancel your return trip. If you had checked luggage they would consider it fare jumping and charge you the addition fee to pick up your luggage.
7 :
it may sound simple but it's not if you get off your flight at the connection point you could be in all kinds of trouble first of all it may just be a stop and the passenger wait on the aircraft in which case you could not deplane even if it is a connection and you don't get on the second half of the trip you could find homeland security all over you not worth it

I am traveling from new orleans to memphis. It is cheaper to fly to columbus($159), with a stop in memphis

I am traveling from new orleans to memphis. It is cheaper to fly to columbus($159), with a stop in memphis?
than it is to fly just to memphis($359). I don't understand this craziness. Would it be legal or ok for me to fly to memphis buying a columbus ticket? I would just not use the connecting flight to columbus, OH. I just don't know what would happen on my flight back to new orleans...I would be leaving from memphis instead of columbus....Any one have experience with this? or is it worth the trouble? Should I pay $200 more ?
Air Travel - 1 Answers
Random Answers, Critics, Comments, Opinions :
1 :
It is cheaper because there is probably more competition with fares on the route to Columbus while there is less competition on the flight to Memphis (thus the higher fare). If you don't show up for one leg fo your journey the other legs will be canceled so I would definitely warn against it.

From where you are, you might check out a place at Bolton Field (8 miles SW of City) called Capital City Jet Center that offers flight training: http://www.capitalcityjet.com/training.htm or you could check at Rickenbacker or one of the other airports around Columbus. You can pull up info about Bolton here: http://www.airnav.com/airport/TZR and then look at the bottom for links to other area airports. Just check out each one, maybe go visit it, and talk to folks. You'll usually be able to find out what you are looking for. Good Luck! Oh, I'd recommend getting your medical out of the way before doing much training. No sense in spending alot of money if you can't pass the Third Class medical.

Just use this site to price airlines. You can also use it to price hotels but I would go directly to the hotel websites when you find something interesting on sidestep and see if they have any specials. They keep special prices and deals for their own sites. http://www.sidestep.com/
2 :
The best way to get a great deal is to book them separately. For flights, check sites like Southwest airlines, Jet Blue or US Airways. Also do a search on kayak engine. It will check all airlines going to Vegas and all major travel sites and return the cheapest fare. http://www.lasvegas-how-to.com/cheap-flights.php For hotels, book directly from the hotels using their discount promo codes to get the maximum discounts. Here are a few codes. http://www.lasvegas-how-to.com/special.php

I am very upset that I was on a flight from Columbus Ohio to Seattle..

I am very upset that I was on a flight from Columbus Ohio to Seattle...?
I took both of my adult children on a flight with me to Seattle Washington. We, the three, sat together. Near the end of the long flight, an attendant shook me crazy heavily (I was in the window seat), mindful that she was surpassing my children....I had my seat belt on, but my seat was in the tilled position. I woke to violent shaking. Why could she not ask my sons to wake me? Or, how about her hitting the 3 inch rise button herself? What is up with airline people these days? We were literally in the last seats of the plane. Did we pose an issue in real terms? NO>>>>> For Goodness sakes. I want to hear from Airline staffers as to why it was so important to cause us much distress in a nanosecond. Just ask my sons to wake me...right? Why does an attendant need to shake me so violently? My adult son's were scared. They said the attendant was very nasty and they didn't know how to react. I have great son's. I trust their judgment.

Stop your rant and take it up with the airline. WE DON'T GIVE A DAMN.
2 :
you should make a complaint to the airline, that is completely unsutable behaviour
3 :
do you know how hard it is to be a flight attendant and the bullshit they have to put up with everyday? i dont think she was doing it that hard or on purpose, if you think that is distress, then your very snobbish.
4 :
You should of got the flight attendants name and complained to the airline. I have noticed that most attendants are pretty nice but there are few crabby ones too. Must be jet lag or something or all the cabin pressure is squeezing their brains.
5 :
lol do you have a question?
6 :
Although it is frustrating to have people disregard the rule of putting the seat upright the question I ask if did she try to wake you verbally? If she did and you still didn't wake up it is important for her to wake you to tell you to put your seat up. She may have had to shake you but not violently. She had no idea these people next to you were your children or even with you. Are you certain that you weren't sleeping so soundly that you were startled by the shake and it appeared worse than it was? If you still feel it was beyond the justification of her action than report this to the airline as it is not alright. I hope someone got the name of the Flight Attendant as it will be difficult to report them without it. This attendant may have been having a really bad day and had a lot of people ignore her and therefore was agitated so you, being at the tale end of the plane just set her off. This is not an excuse and shouldn't be tolerated.
7 :
because its more polite to tell u rather than ur children. how does she know they are ur sons? a lot of times families are split up on flights. also if ur sons are quite young, its not polite to talk to little boys so casually as an adult. u know the saying "don't talk to strangers" but, the attendant probably didn't know that they were ur sons. it was a bit rude to shake u violently, but it might have been possible that she called u and even tapped u before hand. there are numerous things that could have happened while u were sleeping. i wouldn't whine about it now that its over, but rather u should have asked the attendant why he or she were shaking u so violently to wake u. i dunno, im trying to look at it logically. oh yeah, even if they had seen u talking to the children, they still would not have known unless u told the attendants urself that the two boys next to u were ur sons...as many passangers strike up conversations with the people next to them whom they dont even know.
8 :
Plane health and safety policies are just that; for HEALTH and SAFETY? They're not there to be difficult. Like others have said, she didn't know they were your sons. If you were sitting with strangers that you had had small talk with and a flight attendant asked you to wake them up, would you like that? Plus, you said your children are adults. If they were so shocked and scared at you being woken up, why didn't they just say "We'll wake her"? I get that it prolly wasn't a nice way to be woken up, but is it really worth being so upset over? Grumble, accept that to fly on that plane you have to abide by the rules, and get over it.
9 :
File a complaint with the airline if you feel you were mistreated. Federal air regulations require that your seat be upright and locked for take-off and landing, whether you agree with this or not. There are legitimate safety reasons for the requirement. The flight attendant cannot ask your sons to wake you because she has no way of knowing that they are your sons. Getting you into the correct position for landing is her responsibility, and she cannot defer it to other passengers.

Can I switch seats on my Delta flight

Can I switch seats on my Delta flight?
I purchased a plane ticket a couple weeks ago online. It is a short flight from Columbus, OH to Atlanta, GA. I purchased my ticket through Delta. I was given an aisle seat. I already checked the seat availability, and there are many seats still available. Can I request to be moved to a window seat?

Yes and you should be able to go back to the website and pull up your reservation and select your own seat. If you can't call the help number on the website or do a live chat if they offer it.

Is there a Direct Flight between Pittsburgh, PA and Columbus, Ohio?
I used to fly direct between Pittsburgh and Columbus. I am shocked that I can't find a direct flight. Are there any small commuter airlines etc... Amtrak doesn't even go between Pittsburgh and Columbus. Thank you so much and happy travels!

According to Wikipedia, there are flights from Pittsburgh to Columbus on US Airways Express operated by Piedmont Airlines, but this route ends January 5. If you do book this flight with US Airways, keep in mind they charge you $5 to book it through their website, so use Orbitz or another site to avoid the $5 fee You can connect through Philadelphia to get to Columbus.
2 :
US Airways Express has one direct flight that still operates after January 5, but it operates only on Sundays and it stops in Charlotte. That's a long way out of your way. Your best bet is Continental Express with a plane change in Cleveland. I think that the previous answer was accidentally reversed. US Airways does not charge $5 to book on their site. It's the third party sites such as Expedia and Orbitz that have the $5 booking fee.
3 :
There are no nonstop flights to columbus from PIT, the wikipedia edit is wrong and US airways Express stopped flying to Columbus on September 30, 2007. US Airways cut the flight because they are continually downgrading Pittsburgh every day. sorry I live in Pittsburgh and I lost my US Airways nonstops to Albuquerque, London, and Buffalo which I flew on a lot. Here in Pittsburgh it bothers us but we know we have to move on.

I'm flying from Sacramento to Chicago (Midway), then getting on another flight to Columbus at Midway

I'm flying from Sacramento to Chicago (Midway), then getting on another flight to Columbus at Midway...?
Since I am changing flights and getting on another plane, am I responsible for picking up my luggage and checking it in at Midway? Or do they do that automatically for my flight to Columbus? I have flown many, many times, but never as an adult. I have also never changed planes during my trip, so this is kind of a new experience for me. If it helps, I'm flying Southwest with my husband and 3-year-old daughter. Any information, even if it does not pertain to my question directly would be greatly appreciated because I need as much help as I can get. Thanks!
Air Travel - 2 Answers

1 :
When you check in at Sacramento, Southwest will check your luggage all the way through to Columbus. The only thing you'll have to do at Midway is change planes -- airport personnel there will transfer the bags for you.
2 :
As long as both of your flights are on the same reservation, then you should have no problems. Your bags will be checked all the way through and you will pick them up in baggage claim in Columbus. Southwest does not assign any seats, so you will be assigned a boarding group at the time you check in. You can check in online 24 hours before your first flight departs and receive boarding passes for both flights, which I highly recommend. You are given a boarding group of A B or C, along with a position number. When you are getting ready to board at the airport, you'll see how the groups and numbers come into play. Preboarding passengers go first, which are passengers in wheelchairs, people with disabilites, and unaccompanied minors (aged 5-11 kids by themselves). Families do not preboard, but there is family boarding offered after the A group has boarded. I recommend checking in as close to 24 hours before departure as possible, since the groups are mostly first-come, first-served. If you are in the A group, you can board then and not have to wait for family boarding. Once you're on the plane, it's open seating. The only restriction with traveling with small children is that you cannot sit in the emergency exit rows. Your daughter is not required to use a carseat onboard, but you can bring on if you'd feel more comfortable with her in it. Just make sure it states that it is approved for aircraft use, because not all seats are. Booster seats provide no restraint and are not allowed. If you want to bring a seat and NOT use it, it's probably easiest to check it out front at the ticket counter or curbside when you check your bags.

5 :
I'd be happy to tell you, if I knew what a flight was.
6 :
The flight time is about an hour, but then there is the time to get to the airport, the time to get through security, time of walking to the bording area, the delay sitting on the runway to wait to take off. Then upon landing there is the time of waiting to get off the plane, time of waiting for your bags, if in fact they arrive at all, time of getting a rental car unless someone is going to pick up up. Total time about 3 to 4 hours.
7 :
The flight should be no more than 1 hour. But you also have to factor in the time for the airplane to taxi from the runway to the gate area. If you are flying from O'Hare, just hope there isn't so much congestion that you are waiting half an hour just for takeoff.

What happens if you miss a connecting flight because of a delay

What happens if you miss a connecting flight because of a delay?
Example: My plane leaves Seattle, WA and lands in Detroit MI, where I'm supposed to take another plane from Detroit to Coumbus, OH. What if the airport at Seattle is delayed and the delay is so long that by the time I get to Detroit, the Detroit to Columbus flight has already left? Do I just have to go find a hotel room or something, even though it was the airline's fault I missed my plane? Just curious, I'm not actually IN the situation, it just occured to me :P Thanks!

Normally the airlines will book you on the next flight going to your destination. They can even book you on another airline. If there are no flights available the airlines will overnight you at a hotel and pay for your room and a meal. You would then leave out on the first flight the following day. This has happened to me, it was inconvenient, but not the end of the world.
3 :
Ah! I was in this situation flying from Melbourne, Australia to Toronto, Canada. Stopped in Sydney, Honolulu and Vancouver. Long story short - flight was delayed for five (very, very long) hours in Honolulu and was five hours late arriving in Vancouver hence.. I missed my plane to Toronto. Went to the Air Canada's service desk and they fixed it up then and there. No extra charges. Not they would have wanted too, either.. man was I angry! :P Hope that helps! :)

You need to go to several different sites to price it out and then see who offers the lowest rates. This will be the best way to find out. All the online discounters are all pretty safe to go through. Just be sure you understand policies, etc. in case you need to cancel or change your flight. Look over what you book several times to make sure it is what you want/need. As far as the one site that is the best, it's really hard to tell you. They will all vary and change all the time. One site may be lower for one person, higher for the next. You just have to do your research and see what yo find. In my expereince, the cheapest way to go is directly through the airline. In my past dozen trips, that I can remember, the airline has always been cheaper than the online discounters. Just look around and see what you can find. Check around online. There are several online discounters, like expedia, priceline, orbitz, etc. This is usually the cheapest way to go. But you should also check directly through airline sites to see if they are running a special. It is also easier to make changes if you use the airline directly instead of a discounter. For example, air tran often offers discounted tickets on Tuesdays and Thursdays and it is cheaper than through other online sites. I prefer to go with the air sites directly. Not only are they usually a less than discounters, but if you have to make a change or cancel, it is a lot easier than going with the discounters. Also watch in the newspapers and such, they often advertise specials in the newspaper . Hope this helps!

The scheduled gate-to-gate time on a nonstop flight between CMH and LAS would be between four and four and a half hours, depending on the type of plane that was utilized. The actual flying time would also depend on the weather conditions on the day that you were flying, but the 4-4.5 hour time frame is a fairly good estimation. If you are flying on an airline that does not have nonstop flights between these airports, the actual flying time would depend on where your connection is and how long the connection is between your arrival and the departure of the second flight.

You find the bargains at least a month in advance of your flight. It's too close to your date of departure to find a bargain. I'd stick with the low-fare airlines. Southwest can get you from Columbus to Minneapolis with one stop along the way for $184.00 each way.

No, most of the cheaper tickets will be available online, as the reduction overheads means they can pass on discounts, that the average travel agent cannot as they need to charge you commission etc..

$500 for an international flight is pretty good! i would jump on any international ticket for $400 or $500 and buy right away. you aren't going to get there a lot cheaper. you may be able to get a deal if you depart from dayton, cinci, pittsburgh or another nearby airport. sometimes when you fly from a different airport you save a hundred bucks if you drive a little further to get to the airport. try out nearby airports on expedia- you can check the flight costs as many times as you want without paying
