know where to find cheap flights?
im looking for REALLY cheap tickets to Columbus Ohio from Boston/Manchester NH.

just put cheap flights into search. I like yahoo search.

I would highly recommend both hotwire and priceline, with cheaptickets comping in a close third. I've searched around for airfare quite a bit, and these three sites usually ring true as the cheapest. Other than that, I'd go to sites like igougo.com, travelzoo.com, or bookingbuddy.com. These sites offer searches of multiple online airfare websites, making it easier and less time consuming to compare prices. As for when to buy, I usually go to farecast.com. They pretty accurately predict when a good time to buy a flight would be based off of past and current trends, etc. It's pretty useful. Another site I've found handy is rightflight.org. They did a bunch of research on the various airfare sites to see which sites are usually the cheapest. They also have a list of most of the airfare sites on their webpage, which can be pretty handy in and of itself. Hope this helped!

Southwest.com- Starting October 23 they have flights from $73 each way, making a round trip ticket $181. http://southwest.com/cgi-bin/lowFareFinder?#RETURN_calendar Using Smartfares.com, I found a flight on Continental Airlines for $126, but it is $220 after taxes. Traveling: What can I do
Traveling: What can I do?
My flight leaves Ontario, Ca Snday at 4:30 pm to Salt lake city, then to LAX, then to Columbus. As you can see its going to be a very long day. My plane doesn't land in Columbus until 6:10 Monday morning! What all can I take or do to keep my self busy on the plane. And unfortunately on the longest flight I sit between 2 strangers, so what can I do to not feel so awkward for the whole 4 hours?

Take a book or magazine to read, or a book of crossword puzzles. You could also take an ipod and listen to music or take a nap. Some people like to knit or crochet.

besides skybus, who has the cheapest flights
besides skybus, who has the cheapest flights?
skybus doesn't go everywhere. I'm trying to go from Columbus, Ohio to Roanoke, VA. for cheap.

US Airways has always been relatively affordable. And they fly through Roanoke, if I recall correctly. Delta also flies through there, and they can be decent in price too. It really depends, though, on other factors. How flexible are you? When are you leaving? Either way, I would book a flight with the airlines directly, rather than using a middle man like expedia or orbitz or the like. It's always going to be cheaper to buy things directly as opposed to going through a middle man.

Roanoke is not currently served by a low-cost carrier. You can try different travel websites to see what the prices are for different airlines. If you are flexible, you can also try to fly to an alternative airport and drive to Roanoke. One of my friends flew to Lynchburg and drove to Roanoke.

Skybus isn't even that cheap it's a ripoff, actually. Misleading at best. You could try Southwest or AirTran, but honestly, I find the best airfares on USAirways, American Airlines and Delta.

Try flexible hours and dates. Also, the flights called "red eye" are cheaper and the planes usually are half full. It is called red eye because they depart at midnight or a little before or after. Check that time. I love it because the plane is silent. Everybody is either reading, or sleeping.

Deplaning at a hub city
Deplaning at a hub city?
I want to fly to Cleveland oh from richmond va. It's less expensive to fly from Richmond to Columbus and change planes in Cleveland then fly from cleveland to columbus. does anyone know if the airlines will cancel the return portion of the ticket if you are not on the 2nd segment of the flight?

You would effectively be changing your itinerary which comes with a $75 - $100 - $150 fee depending upon the airline. The intent is to prevent passengers from doing what you are proposing.
