do plane tickets get cheaper if you wait until last minute?
okay so i really need to get home to charleston wv from hilton head sc. 2 days ago i found tickets on us airways from charelston sc to charleston wv for $114 but an hour later they were $433. i really really need to get home eaither today 7/24 or tomorrow 7/25. i can leave from hilton head, charelston sc, or savannah ga, and fly into charleston wv, huntington wv, or with luck columbus oh. and my flight needs to be less than $350. im having a really hard time with this so if anyone could help i would greatly appperciate it. okay i found another flight...but see im with my friends family not my i dont have my credit card but i have cash could my mom buy the ticket online for me or would i can i pay cash?

It depends how late you get them. If they are the day of, it will cost a lot more but if you get them a little later than other people would, it should get cheaper. It also depends which airline you are buying from.

no they will not, tickets are at there cheapest 8-12 weeks before your departure date. last minute tickets are usually the most expensive 99% of the time.

No, they usually get more expensive cuz some people have less flexibility as the date gets closer. If they have to travel on that day, then they have to pay that price. Your mom can by the ticket for you with her credit card online (my mom did that for me)
