Purchase domestic airlines ticket in US?
I know the flights but am unable to get my choices on any airlines website. In old days, we had travel agents. How can I pick flights I need and get the best price from Columbus to San Diego?

try a few sites - expedia.com, orbitz.com and also try the airline you want to fly on. i almost always use southwest.com - easy to navigate and best prices

You can go directly to the airlines website and get a listing of their flights. Travel sites wont give you that option and just as travel sites do, Travel Agents charge you for the same thing you can do on your own. I worked for an airline and Ive helped many people on Yahoo find deals and what they were looking for, and my services are free. Just remember some flight departure times will be more than others. Usually the cheapest flights are the last of the night, and it depends on the market and the need for certain flights at certain times.
