When is the best time to purchase an airline ticket for December? Now, or maybe next month?
I'm looking for a flight from Columbus to Las Vegas for the week around Christmas. Should I buy now? Or, should I try to wait on a seat sale from Southwest?

Christmas is a busy time for airlines, the sooner you book the cheaper it should be.

Go to farecast.com, it will predict when it's best to purchase tickets. My friends and I use this all the time and it always works for us. It will also compare prices from priceline,expedia, etc.
